What Happens After Tryouts?

What Happens After Tryouts/Assessments?
Next Steps - Selection for a Team

If your child is selected for a team, you will be contacted via email with an offer. Please add no-reply@oasyssports.com to your contacts.  You will be instructed that you have 48 hours from that time to accept the position. All parents/players will be contacted no later than 48 hours after the second tryout or assessment session for their age group, whether they have made a team or not. If you have not heard from LNSC within this time frame, please call or email your location's tryout leader.  Their names, email addresses and telephone numbers are located on each location's overall schedule:  TRYOUT SCHEDULE BY LOCATION.

If your child is not selected for a team, please feel free to inquire about the areas for improvement that we have identified. Coaches are prepared to give you guidance on things your child can work on to improve their skills and be a part of LNSC in the future. We can also recommend and provide training and instruction to address these needs.

With an invitation to join one of the teams, questions follow about what to do next. In the following, we have tried to address the events and the things required to becoming a member of one of the teams at LNSC.

If your child is selected for one of our teams, we offer our CONGRATULATIONS! After receiving an invitation to join a team, we ask that you complete the following checklist of items:

 • Visit our website: www.lakenormansoccer.com.  Under Forms, read the Parent/Player Handbook and our Code of Conduct.

• Notify us within 48 hours of your intent to play.  Please call or email the coach at the number provided in your email offer.

• Please pay commitment fee within 48 hours at our website www.lakenormansoccer.com.  Go to the homepage and click on Login.  Offered spots cannot be guaranteed if this is not done within this time frame.

• If you are in need of financial assistance, please complete the required paperwork found under Forms on our website and bring to the Team Meeting Night along with required documentation.  Questions regarding financial assistance should be directed to Leslie Gerwitz at lgerwitz@lakenormansoccer.com.  Due upon a commitment to a team.

• Bring required paperwork to your Team Meeting Night (very important that you and your child attend) - LNSC Player Intent to Play and Financial Agreement, NCYSA Medical Consent/Waiver of Liability Form, US Club Medical Release and a copy of birth certificate if new to LNSC.  Having your paperwork completed prior to the meetings will expedite the meeting.  These are located under the Forms section of the website.
