Michaela Deas - April

Michaela Deas from the 04 Eclipse Elite has been selected by staff as the LNSC Ortho Carolina Player of the Month for April. The Director of Coaching-Eclipse, Kate Hammes, has this to say, "Michaela is a player that has worked really hard to perfect her trade & has shown at the National Level that she can shine amongst the best. This year she has been identified & invited to 3 Id2 National Camps. She’s a true #9 that leads our attack with goals & assists."

-Science

What do you want to be when you grow up?

-A professional soccer player and work in sports medicine

-Soccer, of course

-A dolphin so I could explore under the sea!

-Chick Fil A (Shhh, don't tell Coach Kate!)

-Bora Bora because it is so pretty and I want to stay in one of the huts over the water!

Addie Beehler - March

POTM

Addie Beehler from the U9 Girls Academy has been selected by staff as the LNSC Ortho Carolina Player of the Month for March. The Director of the Youth Academy, Phil Dobbing, had this to say, "Addie Beehler is someone who has continuously worked this season to improve her game. Her foot skills, and decision making when in possession has become much better - even for such a young soccer player. Addie attends every camp, every extra clinic that we hold, and is at the fields every night with a huge smile on her face. We are so excited to see her grow with LNSC in the future, and is well deserved of the POTM award."

Ally Norem - February

Ally Norem from the 04 Eclipse Black team has been selected by staff as the LNSC Ortho Carolina Player of the Month for February. Her coach, Jimena Rojas, had this to say, "Ally comes to every training session & game, ready to give her all. Her attitude & work ethic is contagious which makes all of those around her better. She recently scored a couple of important goals to win the LNSC Race City Classic. She's a great kid & a joy to coach."

Carter Gerwitz - January

Carter Gerwitz from the 00 Force Blue team has been selected by staff as the LNSC Ortho Carolina Player of the Month for January. His coach and Boys DOC, Stephen Chaconas, had this to say about him, "Carter is a true “coaches player.” He is truly defined by his attitude, leadership, work ethic, and accountability. These traits, along with his abilities as a player, are why he is the Captain of our 00 Force Blue. His loyalty is second to none; Carter is currently the longest serving player in the club. He also participates in mentorship programs with younger players, has helped staff with projects, and is a visible presence in scholastic soccer as well with Mooresville High School."

McKenzee Johnson - November

McKenzee Johnson from the 00 Eclipse Elite team has been selected by staff as the LNSC Ortho Carolina Player of the Month for November. McKenzee truly exemplifies what a LNSC player is. She has worked hard over the years being on a 2nd level team finding her way to the Elite team and will now continue her career and education at Queens University of Charlotte. Her current coach, Nick Brown, had this to say about her; "Zee has done an outstanding job for us this season. She’s a Versatile player who plays both outside back as well as up top for us. She’s shows up at every training session and is always giving 100%. She played a key role in man marking in the state semi finals and scored the game winner in that game off of an incredible free kick. She’s done well for me for the past few years and i can’t wait to watch her play at the next level."

Michael Coles - October
 
Michael Coles from the 07 Earthquakes team has been selected by staff as the LNSC Ortho Carolina Player of the Month for October. His coach, Kenny Bonilla, had this to say about him “Mike is a great kid and soccer player. He loves the game and even though he hasn’t been playing soccer for long, he has worked hard and picked up on things very quickly. It’s a pleasure to coach him because of his potential and he always does what is asked of him. I believe if Michael continues to work and learn from coaches here at LNSC, he will be a serious player.”

Daniel Cabello - September

Daniel Cabello from the 04 Force Elite team has been selected by staff as the LNSC Ortho Carolina Player of the Month for September. "Daniel's recognition really comes from his work not just this past month but for the past 2 years. He has gone from the third team at U11 to the top team at u14 due to hard work and dedication to himself. I'm most proud of the transition he has made to be an instant impact on the top team." Stated Coach Scott Flowers about Daniel. Danny's team captain Chase Galbreath also had this to say about him, "I respect Daniel as a guy because he is very nice and every time he comes out to practice he works to be the best and beat every other guy on the team."

Emily Hapes - August

Emily Hapes from the 04 Eclipse Blue team has been selected by staff as the LNSC Ortho Carolina Player of the Month for August. Emily truly exemplifies what a LNSC player is. Her coach, Stephanie Demake, had this to say about her; “Emily's training mentality, paired with her willingness to learn, make her the type of person every coach appreciates within a team. Her positive attitude, effort, and coachability at training each and every day are reflected in her consistent game performances. She's an excellent teammate with an enthusiastic passion for the game. As such, she has certainly earned this honor!”
